Responsibilities:
As a Chinese language teacher, you'll need to:
- plan, prepare and deliver lessons to a range of classes and age groups
- prepare and set tests, examination papers and exercises
- mark and provide appropriate feedback on oral and written work
- devise, write and produce new materials, including audio and visual resources
- organise and get involved in social and cultural activities such as sports competitions, school parties, dinners and excursions
- attend and contribute to training sessions
- participate in marketing events for the language school
- prepare information for inspection visits and other quality assurance exercises
- invigilate candidates during HSK, YCT, HSKK exams
- undertake administrative tasks, such as keeping student registers and attendance records.
Other Terms;
- Foreign candidates of all nationalities are required to have a Greek residence permit. Applicants from non-European Union countries will only be granted interviews if they are already in possession of a valid Greek residence permit/work permit.
- A teaching experience certificate gained in the following settings: public or private schools or institutions, closely related to the tasks described above, acquired after having obtained the qualifications mentioned.
