Cultural Trip to China with the Athens Business Confucius Institute
Summer Camp 2017: 27th June - 10th July 2017 (deadline for registration: 28th April, 2017)
The Athens Business Confucius Institute is delighted to announce the 2017 two-week summer camp to Beijing and Xi΄an. Have you always been fascinated by China’s rich cultural heritage? Then don’t miss this unique opportunity to take a trip to China. After some days of study and local travel in Beijing, students will travel to Xi΄an for historical and cultural visits. You will have the opportunity to be immersed in a variety of exciting activities including Chinese language lessons, historical excursions (includes a visit to the Great Wall), Chinese calligraphy and painting classes. The
programme will be hosted by the Business Confucius Institute’s partner university – The University of International Business and Economics in Beijing. Students from last year’s summer camp described the trip as a “truly unforgettable experience” and were grateful for having the chance to partake in this rare opportunity.

Supplemental documents to be submitted by the application deadline:
1. A photocopy of your passport
2. HSK certificates (if any)
3. The Visa Application Form (filled and signed)
4. Two (2) passport-type photos.
Applicant Eligibility: Please read below requirements carefully before registering.
Students who haven’t participated the Summer Camp sponsored by Hanban previously, are aged between 18-30 years old and must have studied Mandarin with the Athens Business Confucius Institute or our partners (minimum 40 hours of studying time).

Accommodation, transportation and activities will be fully funded by the Confucius Institute Headquarter – HanBan. Applicants are expected to cover their own international airfare and the Chinese visa application fee. Due to limited space on the programme, applicants will be selected on a first come first served basis.

Eligibility for the camp may also be dependent on your availability to attend a briefing meeting before the trip which will take place in early June, 2017.
