In order to satisfy the growing demand of the international community for Chinese language teachers and facilitate Chinese language education in other countries, the Centre for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) will continue with the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship program with a view to encourage future and current Chinese language teachers recommended by Confucius Institutes from all over the world to study or do research in Chinese language.

If you would like to spend some time studying in China, then CLEC Scholarships offer you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience Chinese culture and witness China’s rapid economic growth, firsthand and are a fantastic way to fund your studies. There are several types of scholarships available: you can study for a semester, a full academic year, or even do a master or PhD degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages.

We help current students at the Athens Business Confucius Institute in their applications for the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship program offered by the Centre for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) upon request.
