Qualifications:
Candidates must have a university degree in Chinese Studies (Sinology, Chinese Language, History, Philosophy, and/or Translation/Interpretation) or a university degree in education or linguistics from a Chinese University. Candidates with Master’s degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (MTCSOL) or Education or Linguistics or Sinology, are preferred. Fluency in English is absolutely necessary along with a minimum of two years of teaching experience. Computer Skills (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, Internet browsers) and familiarity with the use of video conferencing platforms are absolutely necessary (e.g. ZOOM).

The first ever Chinese language Video Festival will be launched on Thursday March 18 to celebrate this year's United Nations Chinese Language Day.
In full compliance with the measures in effect to protect public health, all written and oral exams (HSK, YCT, HSKK) requiring physical presence of the students are currently suspended. Therefore, the Business Confucius Institute announces that, until further notice, it cancels all exams scheduled to take place the current academic year 2020-2021. Since all exams are being postponed indefinitely until further notice, future candidates are asked to visit BCI’s official webpage and Social Media accounts to get the latest updates on the new exam dates, which are to be announced in due course.
