山东卫视《和而不同》纪录片

2016年10月，山东卫视来到雅典商务孔子学院，将孔子学院的日常教学和文化活动拍摄成纪录片，题为《和而不同》，该纪录片将于2017年春节期间在央视纪录片频道和山东卫视播出。《和而不同》的播出，在让更多人了解雅典商务孔子学院的同时，也将极大增强对外经济贸易大学、国家汉办和孔子学院的国内外影响力，必将在孔子学院事业发展史上留下一抹重彩。

"Harmonious but Different" documentary of Shandong TV

In October 2016, Shandong TV came to BCI to document the daily teaching and cultural activities of BCI as a documentary entitled "Harmonious but Different", which will be broadcasted during the Spring Festival in 2017 on the CCTV Documentary Channel and Shandong TV. While the "Harmonious but Different" documentary will let more people get to know about BCI, it will also enhance the influence of the University of International Business and Economics, as well as Hanban and Confucius Institutes at home and abroad, and will be a remarkable highlight in the history of Confucius Institute.

故宫博物院院长讲座

雅典当地时间10月2日，雅典商务孔子学院荣幸地邀请到了故宫博物院院长单霁翔博士，做了一场精彩的题为《故宫的世界，世界的故宫》的专题讲座。最后在讲座的交流问答环节，受我院学员提出的问题的启示，单霁翔院长当场表示：从今以后，故宫博物院向全球孔子学院的学生免费开放，并派解说员专门解说。他同时表示，很希望与雅典商务孔子学院，也可以是其他孔子学院，在故宫博物院开展连续三天的文化活动。单霁翔院长的这一声明对全球孔子学院的工作具有重大意义。故宫向全球孔子学院学生免费开放这一举措，必将促进孔子学院的工作迈上一个更高的台阶，必将促进外国人对中国文化的进一步了解，必将为中外国际关系友好锦上添花。

The Palace Museum Dean Delivered a Speech

On October 2, the Business Confucius Institute in Athens was honored to invite the Palace Museum Dean Dr. Shan Jixiang, to deliver a wonderful speech entitled "the Forbidden City and the World". At the Q&A part, inspired by the questions raised by BCI students, the Dean, Jixiang Shan, said: from now on, the Palace Museum will be free for students from Confucius Institutes around the world, and will have commentators to guide them. He also expressed the hope that the Palace Museum would love to cooperate with BCI and also with other Confucius Institutes, to carry out a three-day cultural activities in the Palace. The statement of the Dean Shan is of great significance to the work of the Confucius Institute in the whole world. The free doors the Palace Museum opens to Confucius Institute students will promote the work of the Confucius Institute to a higher level, will encourage foreigners to understand Chinese culture further, and will be good for the friendship of China and foreign countries.

中东难民救助

2016年春节期间，雅典商务孔子学院组织教师和志愿者，与希腊侨界一起，组成了一只难民志愿者团队赴希腊莱斯沃斯岛，为难民赠送水果和食品；和来自其他各国的84支志愿者团队一起，帮助从土耳其偷渡过来的难民安全上岸，在莫利亚难民营帮助打扫卫生、修整通道。此活动产生了很好的国际影响，树立了孔子学院良好的国际形象。此次行动获得了中央电视台、新华社等多家中外媒体报道。

Humanitarian Aid for Refugees in Greece

During the Spring Festival in 2016, the Business Confucius Institute in Athens organized teachers and volunteers, together with the Greek Chinese, to form a Chinese volunteer team on Lesvos Island, Greece, and to offer humanitarian aid for refugees. The BCI volunteer team cooperated with other 84 volunteer teams from other countries to help the refugees who smuggled from Turkey to Greece. BCI volunteers also went to Moria refugee camp to help cleaning. This event has made a very important international influence and has established a good international image of Confucius Institute. The action was reported by the CCTV, Xinhua and many other Chinese and foreign media.
