THE HSK EXAMINATION EXCELLENCE GRANT PROGRAM BY ATHENS BUSINESS CONFUCIUS INSTITUTE

The HSK Excellence Grant Award, introduced and funded by the Athens Business Confucius Institute, is in recognition of the individuals who earned the highest scores (100% success rate in HSK 1 and HSK 2 and above 90% success rate in HSK 3, 4, 5 and 6) of all the candidates who wrote the exam and equals to the cost of the HSK examination fees paid at registration.

In particular, the HSK participants who achieve the following overall scores will be awarded with a Gift Voucher which enables them to claim a tuition fee deduction at the time of the registration in the next academic year-long Chinese language courses:

  • Candidates who obtain the highest overall score (200 points) in their HSK 1 Level examswill be awarded a tuition fee waiver (on the full course fee) of 50 euros.
  • Candidates who obtain the highest overall score (200 points) in their HSK 2 Level examswill be awarded a tuition fee waiver (on the full course fee) of 60 euros.
  • Candidates who obtain an overall score above 270 points in their HSK 3 Level examswill be awarded a tuition fee waiver (on the full course fee) of 80 euros.
  • Candidates who obtain an overall score above 270 points in their HSK 4 Level examswill be awarded a tuition fee waiver (on the full course fee) of 100 euros.
  • Candidates who obtain an overall score above 270 points in their HSK 5 Level examswill be awarded a tuition fee waiver (on the full course fee) of 120 euros.
  • Candidates who obtain an overall score above 270 points in their HSK 6 Level examswill be awarded a tuition fee waiver (on the full course fee) of 130 euros.

The scholarships awarded by the Confucius Institute of Athens are not transferable, not exchangeable for cash, non-refundable and are only valid for the academic year stipulated in the coupon; an expiry date is printed on the voucher and extensions are not possible.

Before redemption, please read the terms and conditions carefully printed on the back of the Gift Voucher.

HSK Gift Vouchers will be valid for the academic year 2022-2023 during the official registration period from September 1 to October 7, 2022 and can be redeemed during the course online registration process [Attachment Field: “Discount Eligibility (Proof of unemployment, Valid Student Identity Card, Gift Vouchers, Scholarship Vouchers etc.)"].
