The Confucius Institute of Athens announces the names of the winners of the annual Excellence Scholarships 2021-2022, sponsored by the Institute, to support, encourage, and praise the learners’ efforts to learn and to promote and support Chinese language learning in Greece.

The full-tuition scholarship recipients are:

Elisavet Kopalidou, Charalampia Agi, Sofia Trousa, Rayane-Vasiliki Taprantzi, Panagiota Doufexi, Eleni Katalagarianou and Matthaios Kapetanios

The Full Annual Tuition Waiver Scholarships cover the full tuition fees on any Chinese language learning course at the Business Confucius Institute of Athens for the 2022-2023 academic year. Under the Scholarship Rules, a scholarship for outstanding academic achievement is awarded to students who achieved excellent academic results in the current academic year of study. The scholarship for outstanding academic achievement is awarded in each programme of study to 10% of students who have the best academic results. The number of students representing the 10% is rounded up to the nearest integer.

Το Ινστιτούτο Κομφούκιος Αθηνών ανακοινώνει τα ονόματα των νικητών των ετήσιων υποτροφιών αριστείας που χρηματοδοτούνται από το ίδιο το Ινστιτούτο για την επιβράβευση των προσπαθειών των εκπαιδευομένων και την προώθηση και την υποστήριξη της εκμάθησης της κινεζικής γλώσσας στην Ελλάδα.

Οι νικητές που κερδίζουν τις πλήρεις υποτροφίες είναι οι:

Ελισάβετ Κοπαλίδου, Χαραλαμπία Άγη, Σοφία Τρούσα, Ραΐάνε-Βασιλική Ταπραντζή, Παναγιώτα Δουφεξή, Ελένη Καταλαγαριανού και Ματθαίος Καπετάνιος

Οι πλήρεις υποτροφίες αριστείας αφορούν στην πλήρη επιδότηση (100%) των ετήσιων διδάκτρων ενός οποιουδήποτε προγράμματος εκμάθησης της κινεζικής γλώσσας στο Ινστιτούτο Κομφούκιος Αθηνών για το προσεχές ακαδημαϊκό έτος από την απονομή. Προϋπόθεση χορήγησης των υποτροφιών είναι ο εκπαιδευόμενος να έχει συγκεντρώσει τον μέγιστο βαθμό στο πρόγραμμα που παρακολουθεί, εντός του χρονοδιαγράμματος έναρξης και λήξης που ορίζεται από τη Διεύθυνση Εκπαίδευσης του Ινστιτούτου. Ο τελικός βαθμός του προγράμματος προκύπτει από τον μέσο όρο βαθμολογίας των επιμέρους δεικτών προόδου που καταγράφονται στις βαθμολογίες της Α’ και Β’ Προόδου. Σε περίπτωση ισοβαθμούντων εκπαιδευόμενων, πραγματοποιείται  κλήρωση μεταξύ τους για την ανάδειξη των νικητών.

In recent years, the exchanges between China and Greece have been increasing, and Chinese language teaching in Greece as a field thus has also flourished. In order to gain an in-depth understanding of the current situation and development opportunities of Chinese language teaching in Greece, to enhance communication among Chinese language teachers in Greece, to enhance local teachers’ teaching ability and broaden their academic horizon, Athens Business Confucius Institute at the AUEB plans to hold the "Chinese Language Teaching in Greece Conference " on June 26, 2022.

The seminar will invite Associate Professor Yan Hongwei, Director of the Confucius Institute for Business in Athens; Associate Professor Roula Tsokalidou Director of the Confucius Institute at Aristotle University, Professor Wang Xiaohong, Director of the Confucius Institute at Thessaly University along with other leaders and educators in the field of international Chinese teaching in Greece to conduct in-depth discussions on the current situation and to exchange experiences. At the same time, the conference will also introduce the CTCSOL exam and preparation guideline, which is believed to be of great help to the front-line teachers to further improve their teaching ability and knowledge in Chinese teaching education!
