Το Ινστιτούτο Κομφούκιος Αθηνών διοικείται από 8μελές Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο, το οποίο φέρει την ευθύνη της λειτουργίας του υπό το πρίσμα του Κανονισμού Λειτουργίας του Οικονομικού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και της κείμενης νομοθεσίας.

Για την καθημερινή λειτουργία του Ινστιτούτου υπεύθυνοι είναι οι Συν-Διευθυντές του Προγράμματος. Τα μέλη του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου υποδεικνύονται από το Οικονομικό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών και το Confucius Institute Headquarter (Hanban). Οι αποφάσεις λαμβάνονται από το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο και τους Συν-Διευθυντές.

China’s Confucius and Greece’s Aristotle were born at almost the same time. Their great philosophies have led the east and west civilizations for over 2500 years. Today, the Confucius Institute is bridging these two great civilizations, where the wisdoms of the two ancient sages will merge and blend beyond time and space, sparkling the splendors of our times!

Greece and China represent two historic nations and two great civilizations that have been the cradle of West and East cultures, respectively.

The Business Confucius Institute in Athens aims at bringing together these two great civilizations and these two historic nations. It develops a number of educational and cultural activities that promote this objective: it offers certified Chinese language courses to Greek students and organizes activities and seminars on culture, philosophy, arts, business, as well as on other aspects of Chinese life, such as cooking, Kung Fu or calligraphy.

By enhancing in such a way the cultural ties between Greece and China, the Business Confucius Institute in Athens creates the cultural bridge that facilitates the better understanding between the two peoples, the exchange of students and faculty and the furthering of the business activities between the two countries.

The Athens University of Economics and Business is very proud to be the host institution of the Business Confucius Institute in our country. We support its activities because we strongly believe that the development of a successful cooperation between Greece and China in the fields of culture, education and business is for the mutual benefit of our two countries and our two peoples.
