The International Chinese Teacher Certificate examination (Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, CTCSOL) is a standardized examination sponsored by the Sino-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. This certificate is a priority for overseas Confucius Institutes to recruit Chinese teachers; a reference for schools and evaluating institutions to select and evaluate Chinese and teachers; a reference for evaluating the faculty and teaching strength of international Chinese teaching institutions.

Athens, founded in 2009, is the first Confucius Institute in Greece and the first business Confucius Institute in Europe. Over the past ten years of development, the Confucius Institute for Business in Athens has graduated nearly 3,000 students and offers 15 courses every year. It is a model of Chinese teaching in Greece. Confucius Institute Scholarship 2024-2025 is a fully funded scholarship for international students. This scholarship is offered to study Chinese language and culture in more than 150 Chinese Universities. CIS scholarship includes tuition and lodging fees, medical insurance and a monthly allowance for personal expenses.

Categories and Duration of the Confucius Institute Scholarship

The CIS scholarships to train Chinese language teachers usually start in September or March. Take a look at the available categories offered.
